Goodbye 2008....Hello 2009!

Well, well, well! What a good year 2008 was! Some exciting things happened for us such as getting a place of our own and welcoming MJB into the family. We admit that the year absolutely flew by, but we are looking forward to what 2009 has in store!

Jamie and I hosted a black and white theme new years party with some of our greatest friends. My old man even made an appearance!! Two of my best gal pals were missing, but nonetheless at least we got to wish each other a happy new year! We had the regular crew come over and everyone was decked out and looked great. We spent the night chatting, drinking, laughing, drinking, singing *if you have PS2...get Singstar...it is awesome!, and drinking some more.

I didn't feel comfortable bringing out my DSLR, so I played around with a new little point and shoot that Jamie and I bought during boxing week. It is a Panasonic and is pretty good!! It was a little strange for me to use since I have not used a point and shoot since the summer AND I am soooo used to my big Nikon.

It was a great night had by all...as you can tell from the photoz I'm sure....hahahaha! I hope you all had a great new year's eve as well and we wish you all the best for a fine 2009!! ;-)

Some people thought that midnight crept up on us...but I thought for some reason it took a long time to reach 12am. Of course we celebrated with Dick and Ryan!
