The title of this post is a quote from the movie/book "Marley & Me". It stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston and is based on the non-fictional best selling book. I have YET to see this movie as just it just came to theatres two days ago, but Jamie and I really really want to. Jamie is an avid reader, while me.....not so much, but both Jamie and I have read the book and it definitely tugged at both of our heart strings BIG TIME. It reminded me exactly of my beloved family pet Thor that passed a little under 2 years ago after living a great 15 years. It is basically about a guy who gets a puppy lab and the story is based on him growing up with this dog until Marley passes on. It is such a sweet and humorous story and just goes to show that any family pet is just like a member of your family. If you have a pet now or had a dear one in the past...I highly recommend you read the book. I was warned not to read the last few chapters....but you know what they say "It's like a car accident....you shouldn't look, but you do anyway." If you do decide to read the book make sure you have a big box of tissue on hand!
As you ALL already know by now...Mr. Jack Black is the absolute apple of our eye. My friend Kara gave us one of the sweetest gifts we have ever received. Anyone who thinks of MJB while thinking of us is a star :) Thanks Kara!!!!!!!!!
I will let you know what I think of the movie once we have time to see it. If anyone has already read the book or already saw the movie...I would love you know what you thought. :)

That's a sweet ornament! Haven't seen the movie yet. Based on your recommendation I think I will pick up the book.
