We will be living in.......

Wow! Two weeks today and we will be on a plane to Japan!! I know I said in my first entry that things are "starting to sink in", but now I really, really mean it! We just got back from a beautiful weekend at Sheridan Lake to find an e-mail from the company we are working for. FINALLY we can officially tell you where we are going to be living!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to be living in the city of Osaka...in a suburb called Tennouji-Ku. I am actually surprised that we have been placed there because other than Tokyo, Osaka is the most popular destination for English teachers. When we were interviewed they asked us if we had a preference as to where we wanted to live. Beforehand, Jame and I talked about it. He wanted a small town and I wanted a big city, so we decided to compromise and told them something in between. I honestly never thought we would get Osaka. I am stoked and even though Jame didn't really want a big city......he is excited too. He was up late last night scoping out our new area. While I was in the other room he would say "There is a Seattle's Best Coffee at the train station by our house"...or..."We have a 7-11 close by"...or..."Oohhh...there is a big Lacoste store by ______". So at least we will have some familiarites of home!

So that's it folks...that is where we will be living! We will be living in a two bedroom apt., so there will be room for visitors!!!!!! How much room I don't know exactly, but nonetheless there will be some space! I don't know when we will be hooked up with internet access, but we are going to do our best to keep this blog as updated as possible.
