I love the West Coast. We literally live in nature’s playground. Jamie’s parents live on northern Vancouver Island in a small town called Sayward. There isn’t a whole heck of a lot to do expect chillax, go on the boat, chillax, go for walks/hikes, chillax some more, go fishing and of course chillax. That is what I love about that place.
This past long weekend we headed up there for a little R & R. I had a cold that knocked me out for a couple of days, so while Jame and his dad were on the boat I was in bed. When I did go out on the boat, it was awesome. The weather was pretty wacky and we found ourselves taking off and then putting our layers back on, but it really turned out to be an amazing day. It was wonderful to just take in all of the scenery and YAY….we got to see some killer whales. As long as Jame’s folks have lived on the island I have only seen these creatures once. They are phenomenal animals and it is breathtaking to see them in their own environment.
All in all it was a great weekend and I cannot wait to go back!!!
Thanks for stopping by :-)
