A gift from the heart

My 20-12th birthday was in July, but with all of this summer craziness it was hard to get everyone together. This past weekend I had a belated birthday BBQ bash at the beach where I hung out with my wicked friends. It was a little chilly and got dark earlier than usual, but at least the rain held off.

Among all of the wonderful cards and gifts I received, there was one present that tugged on my heart strings big time.…..

I have received nothing but well wishes and support from everyone regarding my tiny little biz Sara Manning Photography. Mikey, whom I have known for years, is the most talented guy on the face of the earth. He is also a fellow photographer who is going to help me with some upcoming weddings :-) Anyhoo, his gift to me was extremely thoughtful and unique. He made me my own personalized business cards with my logo and photos that I had taken in the past. When I opened the box that he also made himself, I had to try hard to fight back the tears. I was so touched that he spent his time creating something this lovely pour moi!! Truly amazing! I love you Mikey!!!
