Re-visiting memories over the May Long weekend

A couple of weeks ago I went to the city where I spent half of my life -- Calgary. The primary reason for my visit was to see my best friend of 25 years and her new little guy, Kai Jonas (aka - Ocean Weezer). One day I asked Michelle how her and Jay came up with their son's name and she said that they discovered the name Kai while in Hawaii as it means "ocean". They wanted a unique middle name, so while humming a Weezer tune, they thought of "Jonas". Hence my new nickname for the little man "Ocean Weezer" :-)

I had such a great time chilling out with the 3 month old cutie patootie AND catching up with Mich. We chatted, went shopping, took photoz, met up with some old friends and traveled to my old neck of the woods.

To the Kientopps, thanks so much for your unbelievable hospitality. I enjoyed every moment with you all and I cannot wait until the next time we all get to hang out! Love and hugZ!
