Feng Shui

One of the things on my "list" was to have my buddy Mark come over and do a walk through of our pad. Why? Mark has been a feng shui consultant for quite sometime now and is quite knowledgeable and passionate about this ancient Chinese practice. He was even on Breakfast Television yesterday talking about it with Simi Sara :)

For those of you who aren't too sure what feng shui is all about, in a nutshell it is the practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. So the way you have pictures placed on your wall, the way your furniture is organized in your living room, the way mirrors are positioned, the colours that you have chosen for your decor can ALL affect your life personally, professionally and financially.

It is obvious that our place is fairly small, so we don't have a lot to work with and it was awesome that Mark totally recognized that. He gave us suggestions as to how we can make the best use of what we have instead of saying we should go out and purchase stuff in order for it to work. It was extremely interesting to hear what he had to say about what was "not working" for us. We are definitely going to take into consideration some of his ideas :)

Here's to hoping the money now starts to roll in! Ha ha ha!
