A verbal mish mash of nothing

Well, it has been a while since I have made an entry. I am trying think….I am thinking really hard about something to write about. Nothing special is coming to mind! Why?? I have nooo idea!

Ummm…..Ummm…ok…G-O…..

These past couple of weeks have been great! Part time is proving to be productive as I am getting a lot of editing done and I can tell it is helping me resume to my sane state of mind. I do get a little side tracked when I am home, but I attribute that to the A.D.D ;) I also have come to the conclusion that I couldn’t do a desk job for 8 hours a day. I am used to walking around the classroom, teaching, interacting, making people laugh etc. Sitting in front of my laptop for 3-4 hours at a time makes me sleeeeeeeeeeeepppyyyy!!!! Maybe it will help when I get to stare at my 27’ mac.

That’s right! I am getting a mac. Something bigger and better to edit my pictures on. I cannot wait! I don’t know how many times I have cursed at my laptop and vowed to smash it on the floor! I have been planning on getting a mac for a while, but I have to get a desk first. I am super frugal and refuse to buy one new, so I have been scanning craigslist for something perfect multiple times a day. Again, the A.D.D isn’t helping! Plus, our second room is a weird shape with loads of crap I want to keep in it, so I have to take that into account.

I have, however, think I scored. I am waiting for the girl to get back to me on the measurements. She said $150 OBO. I never know what offer to offer. Any suggestions?!?

What else?!? Jame’s bday is tomorrow! Happy bday, baby! I love you so much! AAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA…sorry to subject you to that wording! “Baby”!!! No offence to those of you who use that term of endearment with your partner, but I just can’t get that DAMN Justin Bieber song out of my head! Grrr!! I am blaming it on my students because this AM we were talking about the most annoying songs out there and the majority said that one. I said “Wavin’ flag” by K’Naan. Like it, but it is massively overplayed! Dang World Cup.

We are supposed to go to the beach for Jame’s bday on Sat. Please pray for some sun. This weather SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKSSSS lately! What is going on?!?!?

I need another vacay to get some vitamin E. I am already planning our next vacation – Brazil World Cup 2014. Of course 2013 Cuba for our 10 year anniversary! Are you in????

Now I just need to take care of 2012 and next year. Yeah right….unless a load of wedding inquiries come in in the next 24 hours. Wishful thinking!

I cannot believe it is the middle of June! Wow! Time is flying! It is nuts! Really, really nuts! A sign of getting older I suppose! Yuck!

I shot a wedding last weekend and it was so beautiful! It was sooo hot and sooo bright, which is not ideal for taking pictures. I have 1000 pictures to edit. I should get on that! I have another wedding on July 10th and then Aug. 28th. Then Steve & Alex are getting married on Sept. 18th and I CANNOT WAIT!!! It is going to be soooo much fun!! I am already welling up thinking about the ceremony! Time out while I take a sip of my wine! There…….now I feel better!

What else?! Next weekend we are going to the Okanagan for Jame’s cousin’s wedding. It will be nice to see that side of the family. It has been a while! Fingers crossed the weather is decent up there! I am also really looking forward to staying at West bank with the McDowell’s & Schurch clan…esp. chilling with the nephews. I love those kids! It feels like forever since we have seen them! They are getting so big! Almost too cool for Auntie and Unc Unc….*sigh*. E or S…if you are reading this…we want to steal the boys for a sleep over and a Toy Story III date. FYI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Ok, my eyes are starting to burn. Weird! This 15” screen isn’t cutting it! See..I AM getting OLD!
