Today was gorgeous out!! It’s days like these that remind me that Vancity IS the best and most beautiful city in the world!!! Not only was today Mother’s day, but it was also the annual Vancouver Sun Run. Usually Jamie runs it, but this year he had a volleyball tournament.
My mom has a bucket list of things to do in life….as we all should :)…and running the 10k was one of them. She joined a running clinic and a month and a bit ago she hurt her knee, so eased off the running. Well, not only is my mom beautiful and thoughtful, but she is also driven! When she puts her mind to something, she does it! I didn’t think she was going to run, but she did it!!!! This was her first time ever running that far and she finished! YAY MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My bro Brandon also ran, so I definitely have to give him a shout out too for being a first time sun runner! YAY BRAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the run we all went out for a fantastically delish breaky and some good chit chat! What a super day!!!
