This entry is LoooooooooooonG overdue!!! Back in June my BFF Les, her hubby TJ and their new lil’ guy Ewan came to our neck of the woods for a wedding. In my “Forgarty visit part I” I posted some pix I snapped of Ewan. He is toooo die for! I miss him so much already! Maybe you remember that post…I think it was back in the July archives. Anyhooo…….right after I snapped Ewan’s snazzy headshots, we all headed into the city for a day full of fun.
What I loved about this day was the fact that I got to spend my anniversary with my man and my BFF. It was also awesome because Jame and I were tourists in our own city. We had never done that before and it was great. The weather couldn’t have been better and Ewan was soooooooooo awesome the whole day too!
We started off at the top of Cypress, made our way to Granville Island, then to Jericho beach, Stanley Park, downtown and then finally to Kam’s to fill our bellies after a long day outside. We had loads of laughs and what I love about Les is that it doesn’t matter how long we go without seeing each other (this time around was 4 years), when we finally meet up it is like we have never been apart. That is a sign of true friendship!!! Jame and Teeg hit it off and they are like the same person!! He is from the east coast and now resides in Winnipeg. SORRY ABOUT THAT…sorry Les, I couldn’t resist!! After visiting here he fell in love with the city and I have a huge feeling that within a few years they will be living out here. Wooo hooooooo!!!
