So for my first wedding, I was thankful to have my bro in law as a second shooter. The weekend after Vanessa and Colter’s big day was Marla and Jason’s. This time I got to take a step back and assist Eric as his second shooter.
Weddings have opened my eyes to a whole new world of photography and if I could, I would love to do it ALL of the time. Practice does make perfect and since I am soooooo far from perfect, I would love the opportunity for some more practice. So, spread the word ;-)
Since I was the second shooter this time around I took the opportunity to snap some “different” shots if you will. Trying to find some uncovered shade was like trying to find a needle in a hay stack!
You’ll also notice that I finally got around to changing my watermark from SCM Photography to Friendz & Photoz. I always have been a little slow at doing things and since my photog partner left a year ago, it was about time I got the ball rolling!
Here are some shots from the day. Two down and one more BIG Italian wedding that I am R-E-A-L-L-Y looking forward to on New Year’s Eve :-) Thanks for stopping by!
**Jason’s gramma is 102 years old!**
Instead of doing the traditional first dance they had a Scottish instructor teach everyone how to dance Scottish style! Here is one of Marla’s bridesmaids doing a demo. Too cute to NOT post!
Thanks to Eric for inviting me along!

BEAUTIFUL WORK SARA! Your comps are excellent. 17 - 22 are my absolute faves! The one with them standing in the tall wildflowers is xtra YUMMY!!!!
I love the one of them with their backs to you hugging in the church. Probably just after they walked down the aisle as a married couple. Such a moment! Great job sara.
