And it all came to an end in Amsterdam

Once we left Lisbon we were en route to Amsterdam. We had a couple of days to kill there before we headed home. Wow...we arrived home exactly one month ago today! I didn't even plan my blogs to do that...how fitting :-)

I really wish we had more time to spend in Amsterdam.  It is such a fun, diverse, beautiful city. This city is most famous for Heineken, sex, canals, windmills, drugs, tulips, and wooden shoes. What a mix!!!! We basically saw as much of the city as we could (including the infamous red light district) in the little time we had and it was awesome! The canal homes, the funky shops, and the overall vibe was wicked! If I ever win the lotto I am definitely going to buy a canal home. DEFINITELY!

If I ever have the opportunity to go back I would love to check out the rural part of Holland. I highly recommend checking out this city if you ever have the chance to. Fun Fun Fun!

Here are a few shots I took. It was probably the coldest weather we had experienced all trip I didn't have my camera out a heck of a lot.

Well, that's it that's all folks. Thanks soooooooooooooo much for taking the time out of your day to read/look at my blog. I appreciate it and would like to thank you for all of your kind words :-)

Even though I just got back one month ago, I am already ready for another trip. The travel bug has bitten me once again! Jamie and I are planning a trip to Costa Rica in the late fall. That's the plan anyway!

Thanks again for everything, keep checking up, and enjoy your day!
