Jack at the Gorge in George

A couple weekends ago Jame, Hoplex, Carlito, Rossco, and myself took a road trip down to George, Washington. Last year my best friend from Calgary invited us down to the Gorge to see Dave Matthews. It was an amazing show and Jame and I fell in love with the venue. At that time we vowed to go back every year.

This year was a toss up between Dave and Jack Johnson. Since we had never seen Jack before, we decided to check him out. I mean...Dave plays at the Gorge every Sept. long weekend, so there is always next year!

We left bright and early Friday the 22nd. The only stops we made were to Haggens (the best grocery store ever) and the Red Horse Diner (the best diner ever). We arrived at the Gorge at 2pm ish and set up camp...if that is what you want to call it. It is a field with rows of tents/cars literally 3 feet apart.

What can we say...this was the first time we left Mr. JB

We chilled out in the heat with some bevies and made our way to the gate for 5pm. The line-up was freakin' massive!! Luckily the inside is so spacious and we got a decent seat.

Sorry for ruining your self photoz guys!

Jack came on stage at about 9ish. He played all of our favourites :) It was the chillest show I have ever seen, but it was awesome just to lie there under the stars singing along to every song. My favourite part was when I was lying down and had just seen a shooting star as Jack starting singing "Constellations". Very cool!

After the show we headed back to our spot in the field and crashed. The next AM we got up, packed up and headed out to Bellevue...but before that we had to stop at the best diner ever once again...this time for some breaky. We reserved a hotel for the night as that night we went to a Mariners game. Once we arrived at the hotel, the guys went to the outdoor pool and us gals headed to Target :-) After we got back, we went for a dip in the pool and then headed to Safeco field. Thank god we made it there because our driver was PSYCHO!

This is us trying to give our sexiest look! Carlito takes the cake!

The Mariners aren't the best in the league, so it wasn't the most exciting game ever!! Thankfully we were in good company, so the time went by quickly. Afterwards we made our way to a place called "88 Keys". It is a small club that has duelling pianos and the only music they play are what the audience requests. It was soooooo much fun! Hopson A.K.A Drew Carey got even got called up on stage!

On SUnday we made our way to another Target, Costco and the outlet stores. Always a success and always GT's!

Needless to say it was an awesome weekend! We definitely have a great group of peeps to hang out with. A special thanks to Alex and Carly for sharing their photoz!

Until next year.......
