What a beautiful weekend we just had! We spent our time in Langley because the Royals ball team had their year-end tourney. Shelby, Eric and the boys went camping, so we were fortunate enough to stay at their place instead of commuting back and forth.
The Royals played awesome. Some of the best ball I have seen all year. They won their games on both Friday and Saturday. Before their first game I got to pick up my new camera and lens, so I used Mr. Jack Black as a model before we headed to the 9:10pm game. He wasn't too cooperative as a model and pretty much never looked at the camera. Ha ha ha!!!

The next day the Royals won all of their games. It was so much fun to watch. Good ball, beer and sun! What more could you ask for! That night we headed to Coach Rich and Ali's place in White Rock for a year end BBQ. There were also some b-day celebrations :-) Thanks Ali and Jame!!!! Needless to say the night turned out to be very interesting and I will never hear Bon Jovi's "Bed of Roses" the same way again!! Ha ha ha ha ha!! Gt's ladies! Thanks for the photoz Carlito.

The next morning the team had their first game. It was close, but unfortunately they lost. Dang single knock-out! Afterwards we headed back to Shelby and Eric's and hung out with them for the afternoon. Always a blast chillin' with my cutie nephews!

That same night I met my family for dinner. It was great conversation and a lot of fun. I also got Wii fit which was a nice surprise. YAY! I have my fingers crossed that no Wii injuries will be in the near future!
Monday was my actual birthday and my co-workers and students totally spoiled me! All in all in was a super weekend and a wonderful day welcoming my 20-11 birthday.
