New Year's Eve

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you are enjoying 2008 so far and had a great time ringing it in.

This year we celebrated New Year's Eve at my gal pal Joanna's place. It was a United Nations themed party where each person/couple drew a country out of a hat. From there, they had to represent their country by coming dressed up, bringing a local dish, a bottle of booze, a saying and a dance. It was a lot of fun!! The countries represented were : Brazil, Denmark, Chile, Sri Lanka, Columbia, Cuba, Belarus, Italy and Egypt.

Here are some pix from the night:

And then at about 2am we decided to try and turn our semi-pro JENGA status to pro. It is amazing how confident one is after a few bevies. We are still semi-pros :) and of course the guys had to try and one up us.

All in all it was a great night and it seemed to fly by. It seemed like we were ringing in the new year with champagne and hugs and before we knew it it was 3:30am. You know you are having a good time when!!

Thanks for the GT's everyone and especially Jo for being the hostess with the mostess!
