HAI!

We arrived in Narita and managed to find our way through the maze that is the Japanese train system (with Sara/Jamie's instructions and a few other friendly locals of course) to Sara and Jamie’s in Osaka.

Our first impressions of Japan were: clean, friendly and efficient (you can even wash your hands with the toilet water!). After catching up on some sleep, tasting the local (raw) cuisine and seeing our first Japanese castle, our hosts took us out to a local bar (see pictures).

Big beer, chuhai, tequila and zima make for a very good night but a rough morning! HAI!

A few trips to Hiroshima, Miajima and Kyoto and our week flew by. We enjoyed the sights, the food, the sunshine and of course the excellent hospitality! Thanks so much for having us Sara and Jamie :)

PS – Just for your information, Toro IS the underbelly of the tuna and no, we didn’t eat it.
