This year so far.....

It's already the middle of January. What's new with us? Ummmm.....not too much. Other then being back at work, we've just been taking it easy. I am trying to get this dang back of mine back into tip-top shape! Wow...how many times can I say "back"? It's taking a while too, which is kind of annoying. It is slowly getting better, but it's just frustrating because I am so used to my chiropractor back home. Mr. Miyagi is good, but his style is different and it doesn't seem to be working. I decided to check out another guy who does massage and some manipulation. Things are progressively starting to get better, but I am just getting impatient.

The last thing I wanted to happen was to have a back injury in Japan. But...it's my fault....I suck and I don't keep up with my strengthening exercises, so it is nobody's fault, but my own. My New Year's resolution is to be diligent in terms of my core strengthening.

Hmmmm...interesting because as I recall I think I have made that resolution in the past. Why is it so hard to keep the goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year? Do any of you have any resolutions set out for yourself? Have you already broken them.....or have you even started? Just curious!

What else.....recently Jame and I have been talking about taking a trip somewhere in between our up coming visitors. Rich and Ali are popping over for a bit in a month, then I just found out my Dad --and now my Mom too --bought their plane ticket for the end of March and beginning of April, also Steve and Alex might be coming in May:-) Jame and I are itching to go somewhere -- we are just thinking about where & when. We haven't booked anything, but we are talking about either Thailand or China. We really want to check out the Great Wall.....something I have wanted to see since I was a junior-high school student. I want to go there before it gets super hot. We've also been researching a small island in Thailand called Koh Samui. We thought it would be cool to go there and attend a Full Moon party. Now it's just a matter of going to the travel agency and seeing what's available in the next couple of months AND THEN trying to get the time off. We'll defintely keep you posted!

I am super excited today because tonight we are going to see The Killers. This is my first concert in Japan and I am super pumped because I am in massive concert withdrawl!!! I'll let you know how it was!

So that's it for now....just a random entry...so I apologize for the rambling in advance! Ha ha ha!

Oh ya......below are some photos of my newphews who are representing Ooooooooosaka Japan all the way in Langley. CUTIES!!!!
