Just cuz.....

So in an earlier post I had written about 2 used bikes we got for 4000 yen. Here's a picture of the beauties...Jame's is the silver and mine is the maroon. I agree....some neon colour spokey dokes would look pretty sweet!!

Here's Jame all alone in the bike lane. We're on our way to get some groceries.

Lately I have been addicted to Ritz crackers. I have no idea why, but I quite enjoy nibbling on them at work. A box is 99 yen, so yes...it is a cheap snack. I only wish I would be able to crack open a beer at work, because as the box suggests -- ritz & beer are a perfect combo! Who knew?

The majority of Japanese students go to private school. On the street or on the train it is quite common to see a plethora of kids in their school uniforms. Despite the weather...these uni's must be worn at all times. I feel sorry for the guys in the summer because they have to wear a suit. This time of year I feel sorry for the girls and small boys. In this picture you can see the girls wearing skirts, but what I don't have a picture of is elementary school boys. They have to wear these tacky hats, short sleeve shirts and short, short, SHORT polyester shorts.

Ahhhhh....karaokee! So much fun! Especially when the price for one hour includes unlimited drinks! On this night a lot of lychee & peach chuhai was consumed.

In this photo Jame and I are doing a duet. He's Kid Rock and I'm Sheryl Crow and we're singing "Picture". This song proved to me that I am a HORRIBLE singer. It's hard to sing like Sheryl...I prefer to scream like Kelly Clarkson in "Since U Been Gone" :)

Here's the book with all of the English songs you can choose from. We are wondering why there is a panda holding a katana (samurai sword) ?!?!

I teach a lot of kids classes (chibiko {2-3 yrs.} kinder {3-5 yrs.}, JR {6-9 yrs} & SR {10 -12 yrs.} . This is a photo of one of my favourite JR. classes that I teach on Tuesday afternoons. Left to right we have -- Shintaro, Miku, me, Wakako, and the lil' poser Yuri. They are awesome!

Sara you better be careful how you word things on your blog. Typing things like "but what I don't have a picture of is elementary school boys" may or may not set off alarms with the internet police. HAHA
