Why does it have to be so humid here?

Today we had our first day of orientation. Japan is a very conservative country, so teachers are not allowed to expose any piercings or tattoos. My tatty....easy enough, but I did have to take out my beloved nose-ring.
I thought I would be able to put it back in at the end of the day, but no such luck! I think the humidity..which caused the sweat...which led to an oily face....YES, GROSS I KNOW...made the hole close a lot faster then normal.
I figure if I aggrevate the nostril every day..take it out..put it in etc., it is just going to be annoying and very uncomfortable! So Dad, you'll be happy to know that my nose-ring is no longer!!

PS - Business attire should be BANNED in this kind of weather!!!!!!!!!
