Mom's Rule!!!

On our second day off we had planned to go to a popular tourist attraction nearby called Tennouji Park. First we had to swing by the post office to pick up our bank cards because we weren’t home when they were delivered. We thought it would be pretty easy to find the post office, but nope!!! We ended up walking around for over an hour in the blistering heat when we finally found the place. We had practically walked all the way back home—the complete opposite direction of Tennouji Park where we first started out--- so we decided to go to the park another day. We ran some errands, found a used bike store which we will probably go back to in the very near future, and went back home. Just as we reached the top of the stairs we saw a man in front of our door with a large Rubbermaid container. Thank god we saw him because the last thing we wanted to do was to find out we had to go back to the post office! Ha ha ha! The container was from my mom and I was sooooo excited when I saw it. I was like a little kid on Christmas day. I opened it up and was thrilled with what I saw. I had mentioned in conversation how hard things were to find, or when we did find them how outrageous the prices were and well…….mom listened!!! She definitely spoiled us with things that will make our place more like home!

Mom….thank you so much!!! I love you tons!!!!! :)
